On September 14th 2019 Saudi Arabia experienced a devastating attack on two of their refineries in Abqaiq and Khurais oil field! This marked the largest oil disruption in global history and sent prices for crude oil shooting up. Furthermore it sent shockwaves through global financial markets .
As news of the attack spread, the global community began to wonder who had attacked Saudi Arabia? The initial assessment from the United States identified that the attack had been launched from Iran, built upon the intelligence they had gathered 🇸🇦. The United States alongside several other countries made accusations of liability at Iran, and were quick to point the finger at them.
