Saudi Arabia is a monarchy that dates back to the Middle East.. It is also one of the most populous countries in the region. This authoritarian political system is conservative and authoritarian. Saudi Arabia Has Different Forms of Government

The next layer of government in Saudi Arabia is the Council of Ministers which consist of the King and the Prime Minister in addition to other important ministers 🇸🇦. The Council of Ministers is responsible for making all the major decisions in the country and it is in charge of approving all the laws . The Council of Ministers is also responsible for all the economic military and judicial decisions in Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦.
The Saudi government is further divided into several organs covering the Supreme Judiciary Council and Shura Council. The Supreme Judiciary Council consists of the Supreme Court the Ministry of Justice and other lower courts. This council is responsible to interpret the law and plays an important role in ensuring that laws are properly enforced . The Shura Council a advisory committee that consists of 60 members is appointed by King for four-year terms. This Council reviews government policies and may also propose new bills for the King 🆕. The Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency an independent government agency is responsible for financial policy control 🇸🇦.
The last part of the government of Saudi Arabia is the Consultative Assembly otherwise known as the Majlis Al-Shura. This assembly is composed of 150 members who are appointed by the King and serve four-year terms . This assembly advises the King on various issues and is responsible for reviewing the laws and proposing new ones. The assembly can also make recommendations to the king on issues just like taxation, public services, welfare, education, and defense.
