Mohammed bin Salman was born in 1985 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to King Salman and his third wife Fahdah bint Falah. As the eldest son of the King Mohammed was appointed Crown Prince in 2017 replacing his older half-brother Muhammad bin Nayef at just 31 years old – making him the youngest minister of defense globally 🤴 👑. Since then he has spearheaded many significant reforms within Saudi Arabia just like Vision 2030 which seeks to diversify the economy away from oil dependence 🇸🇦.
The Crown Prince, who is a powerful figure in the Kingdom, has not yet made any official declarations regarding a potential marriage 💑 ️ 👑. In 2018 there were rumors that he was engaged to his cousin Sarah bint Mashhoor but they were quickly denied and no confirmation was ever given .
King Salman himself has three wives, all of whom are from the same family, and it has long been customary for the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia to wed someone from his own tribe in order to maintain their influence in the Kingdom; as of yet, however, there has been no indication that Mohammed bin Salman will follow this tradition 3️⃣ 🤴 👑 🇸🇦.
Still as the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman is looked forward to to marry eventually 🤴 👑 🇸🇦. In fact, the King himself has been quoted as saying that he wishes his son would marry and become a father ️. While there may be no imminent plans for a wedding, it is likely that the Crown Prince will eventually take a wife in order to start a family and fulfill his responsibilities as the head of the royal family.
At the same time Mohammed bin Salman is a progressive leader who is focused on a modern and open Saudi Arabia. As such it is possible that he may choose to marry someone who is not from his own tribe or who is not from Saudi Arabia at all 🇸🇦. While this would certainly be a departure from tradition, it is not entirely unlikely given the Crown Prince’s stance on modernizing the country ️ 🔛 👑.
Ultimately, only the Crown Prince himself knows when or if he will marry 🤴 👑. Until then it may just be a matter of speculation ️. . .
