However a significant amount of people from other parts of the world have made Saudi Arabia their home. The official language is Arabic while Islam and Christianity are two major religions practiced there.

In terms of geography Saudi Arabia belongs to the two largest countries on the Arabian Peninsula with the other being Yemen. It is the fifth-largest country in Asia, and its capital city is Riyadh. The country is home to many important historical and religious sites including Mecca and Medina, which are both considered holy cities by Muslims . The country is also home to the world’s largest oil reserves and produces 11 percent of the world’s oil.
