Doha boasts numerous modern developments for instance, Katara Cultural Village and Qatar Foundation 🇶🇦.
Despite its close proximity to Saudi Arabia, Doha is in Qatar, and this is not likely to change anytime soon 🇸🇦 🔜 🇶🇦. The two countries do not share a land border and have no plans to merge. In fact, Qatar is currently embroiled in a diplomatic dispute with Saudi Arabia and several other Gulf countries since 2017 🇸🇦 ️ 🇶🇦.
This dispute began in June 2017 and stemmed from claims that Qatar supports Islamist groups, in addition to being too close to Iran 🇮🇷 🇶🇦. The Gulf nations imposed a blockade against Qatar in response ️ 🇶🇦. The blockade caused Qatar many economic and diplomatic problems, in addition to cutting off land, air and sea transportation to the Gulf countries 🌊 🇶🇦.
Although the blockade has strained relations between Qatar and the Gulf countries it has not caused any major disagreements with Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 🇶🇦. Despite their differences the two countries have managed to maintain a level of cordiality and even recently reopened their land border for the first time in over three years.

As Qatar’s capital and host to numerous international institutions, Doha has become a center for diplomacy, business, and culture in the region – giving it potential to play an influential role in resolving this conflict.
No matter what the future holds for Qatar Doha will continue to get a vibrant modern city and remain an important part of the Middle East ️ 🇶🇦. Although Doha is not in Saudi Arabia it is an important part of the Gulf region with close ties to all the countries in the region 🇸🇦 🇶🇦. ! .
