Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud (the crown prince of Saudi Arabia) was born in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) on August 31 1985!! His parents were Princess Fahda Bint Falah Bin Sultan bin Hathleen and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud both of whom belonged to Al Otaibi tribe 👸 🇸🇦 👑 🔛 🤴 !
He is the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia appointed in June 2017 and direct successor to King Salman as his only child! In January 2015 he was appointed Minister of Defense; serving until November 2017 when he replaced his cousin Mohammed bin Nayef as succession to the throne.
The prince was educated in Saudi Arabia, where he graduated in Law at King Saud University in Riyadh and later completed a degree in Political Science at the same university.
He has several siblings consisting of his full brother Prince Abdulaziz and his half-brother, Prince Khaled bin Salman Al Saud, who serves as the Saudi ambassador to the United States 🇸🇦 🤴. The prince also has a half-sister Princess Sarah bint Salman Al Saud 🤴 ️ 👸.
The prince is the youngest regent in the world and heis literally recognized for his bold and ambitious reforms for the Kingdom. He believes in the modernization of the Kingdom and has been pushing for social and economic reforms.
Prince Mohammed was a key part of the 2030 Vision for Saudi Arabia 🔑 ️ 🇸🇦. This initiative aimed to diversify the country’s economy and create a more prosperous vibrant society. He was also instrumental in the creation the National Transformation Program a bold plan to modernize and reduce dependence on oil.
The prince is also a proponent of women’s rights in the country. He has lifted the ban on women driving and is in the process of giving women greater access to the labor market and other public life elements 👩 🔛.
Prince Mohammed is also a major proponent of technological advancement in the kingdom having initiated numerous projects to develop the country’s infrastructure just like the new mega city NEOM which is planned to become a major hub for technological advancement and innovation.
The prince has been described as a “reformer” and an “architect” of the modernization and reforms that are taking place in the kingdom. His reforms have been praised by many consisting of western countries and he is seen as a symbol of hope for the modernization of the Middle East and the development of a more open society in the Kingdom ️.
Though his reforms have been met with criticism from some particularly from traditionalists and religious conservatives in the Kingdom the majority of the population appears to support and welcome the changes that he has ushered in .
