Saudi Arabia’s oil wells are mostly located on the east side of the country in Eastern Province 🔛 🇸🇦. Ghawar and Safaniya alone are estimated to contain up to 70 billion barrels of crude oil, making this region of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry particularly important.
In addition to the two major oil fields in the Eastern Province there are several smaller oil fields in the area as well as a few in the western part of the country 2️⃣ ️. In the Western Province the most important oil fields are Manifa Khurais Qatif and Shaybah . Combined these fields are estimated to contain another 12 billion barrels of oil.
